If you've walked the hill from the Main House down to the Hayloft, out the driveway and up the road to Cherry House, then you'll probably agree that Rainbow Mountain is not the place to go door-to-door searching for that elusive full-size Snickers bar. And hey, that's not me hating on the fun-size treats. At 5'2", fun-size is my middle name...but that's probably a post for another blog!
Sweet cravings aside, October is chock full of tricks and treats just waiting for your arrival.
October 4 - 6, 2019: Bear Weekend - before our furry friends head to hibernation, they're set to make one more stop at Rainbow Mountain!
October 18 - 20th, 2019: Autumn Trans Weekend starts with a wine and cheese reception and includes entertainment from the Mountain's own DJ Mary!

October 25 - 27, 2019: Is there a better way to kick off Halloweekend than with Scarlett Lettah's Halloween Extravaganza? I think not! If you've spent the holiday with us before, then you know no one does creepy like our very own Princess of Possession! And if you haven't, now's your chance to find out.
The fun will continue Saturday with old fashioned pumpkin carving (contest!) and scary movies all day in the lobby & bistro.
I'd work in a nap too because the party kicks into high gear at 9pm with the ANNUAL COSTUME GALA in our new Outdoor Venue. Dress to impress cause there's money to win and people to scare!
$10 admission
New theme nights are kicking off this month as well...
Weekly
Sing Through Your Supper every Thursday with Karaoke in the Bistro from 6pm-9pm
Classic Game Night every Sunday with board games, cards, and trivia
Monthly:
First Friday of the month: 18+ Dance Party (Proper ID required, 21+ to drink)
Third Friday of the month: Amateur Drag Night (call the resort to reserve your spot)
And, just because I can, I peeked at November's calendar and see that we've got Women's weekend coming up on the 15th, the Campers on the 29th (in tents? don't they know it'll be cold?) and, of course, Rainbow Mountain's Family Thanksgiving.
While you're booking your rooms, I'm going to pick up some more candy. Not for you, for me. I could really go for a Snickers right about now!
